20 Year EMS Medic reviews Broken People on Amazon, stating "I think this book should be a must read for parents of kids 12 or older..."

As a person who lost my 16 year old daughter, an EMS medic for over 20 years and have seen the tragedies that happen to children (including suicide even ran calls on 5 friends who decided to cash in their chips), taught K-12 and actually took the time to listen to the kids and now teach at a college level.

I think this book should be a must read for parents of kids 12 and older who are truly blind or indifferent in today's society to what is going on with their kids. It would also benefit the teens out there who also think everything is OK... The key is communication and not through email, txt messaging and fancy gadgets, I'm talking face to face!!!

We are all broken people in some way or another, some worse than others and they all have a story. If people would just take time to really listen, even if it is just finding that one person like FAT KID, but someone to listen!!!!!

Read the Book & Open Your Eyes (Ears) :)

First and foremost, HUGZ, I am sorry for your losses, sorry for your pain, and sorry for the loss of your 16 year old daughter.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why I wrote this book. To allow people to realize, to feel, and to heal. This book is so many different things. It is a self-help book. It is a great novel that tells a great story. It is a book about suicide, about loss, about love, about racism, about grief, and about healing. About hiding from who you are for a lifetime, and then opening up and becoming real. Real with the world, and real with yourself. This book has no intended audience or age group. I carefully crafted it, intending for people 15-80 to enjoy it. The reviews prove that all that read it are able to take something from it. To date, people from ages 14-75 have read and enjoyed it. This book is raw, it is real, it is an in-your-face view of what kids today are doing, what they are thinking, and what parents don't quite understand.

If you're reading a book, why not read a book that will change something in your life? Define who you are, and then allow you to realize you are not alone? Make you realize something? Take a look at your parents? Take a look at your children? Take a look at yourself? We are all Broken, and there are others out there just like us.

Read this book today, and open your eyes to living life just a little differently.
